Reconnect with nature... C o r c o v a d o

Just over a week ago I joined a tour to C o r c o v a d o National Park with the amazing crowd of Bahia Aventuras (check them out if you're around here, they are awesome).

The way to go there is by boat, and during this one and a half hours we got to see the sunrise on the mountains, the dolphins eating, som

e beautiful birds and even a couple of sea turtles... They were acting shy and didn't want to be disturbed in their eating hours so... no photos of those guys, this time!

Then we arrived in the Corcovado, Estacion S a n P e d r i l l o. National Geographic called this park "The most biologically intense place on Earth". Just as an example, Corcovado National Park is home to 500 different species of trees, more then 375 species of birds, 140 mammals, 116 amphibians and reptiles, 40 types of fishes and close to 10.000 kinds of insects.

Those numbers can give an idea of the m a g i c you're surrounded by here. When you enter this jungle and pay attention you can easily count more than 20 different bird only by the noises and you definitely would need more than two eyes to look all around you as you walk in. It's like being in a different world, in a different dimension and the sense of peace and calm I felt in there was undescribable.

I can tell Corcovado is p a r a d i s e for photographers, hikers, bird-watchers, animal lovers, adventure seekers and just every single person wanted to reconnect with nature in its pure harmony.

Check those photos out to get a taste of the vibe of this amazing journey.
